The movie is downright GREAT! The directing wasn't all that great, expected more from Gavin Hood, especially after what he pulled of with Tsotsi. I think it's just that scene where Hugh Jackman falls naked through the waterfall. Something was just off-putting. Then again, he did a great job at building the emotions throughout the movie. That's the one thing that all big-budget action film are missing and that's one of the reason why I think the Dark Knight was awesome. It's really important to tingle with the audience emotions through the movie, especially in the action flicks. All action and effects, may get you attention but the movie itself won't be remembered. *winks, or won't be blogged about.
